When is my coverage effective? A. SILVER WINGS PLAN: Coverage will be effective only on receipt of a fully and accurately completed, signed application, and full premium payment to the MARSH CANADA insurance administrator at Marsh Canada Limited. A Marsh Client Service Representative will contact you in the event of any deficiencies in the application. If you wish coverage to be effective at a later date, please indicate the date. You may send your application by regular mail, fax, or using the online application. B. GOLD WINGS PLAN: When you receive a quotation from us and you have given us specific instructions to effect the coverage. Back
How long before I receive my policy or Aircraft Liability Insurance Certificate? If you applied online you will be able to download and print your policy and Aircraft Liability Insurance Certificate as soon as coverage is bound and the premium is paid. If you applied using a paper application, your policy and Aircraft Liability Insurance Certificate are generally sent to you at the same time. You should receive this documentation within ten (10) business days of the effective date of your coverage. How do I pay my insurance premium? If you applied online you can pay your premium by VISA, MasterCard, or INTERAC® Online only. If you applied using a paper application, you can pay your insurance premium by cheque, money order, VISA, or MasterCard. Premiums are payable either on or before the effective date of coverage. Cheques post-dated after the effective date of coverage will not be accepted. All cheques and money orders are payable to Marsh Canada Limited. With respect to the Gold Wings Plan only premium financing is available. Back
Can I cancel my policy? You can cancel your policy subject to the following: A. Silver Wings Plan: Premiums are refundable subject to the Cancellation “Short Rate Table” contained in the policy wording. With respect to Coverage "D" Aircraft Hull "All Risks" Ground (Not-In-Motion) and Work In Progress Endorsement Aircraft Hull "All Risks" Ground (Not-In-Motion) coverage, the full policy premium shall be paid by the insured in respect of any aircraft which is the subject of a claim which exceeds the premium paid in respect of such aircraft.
