          • Total Suspension caused by an Insured Peril

          • Indemnity Period - Unless otherwise noted, the standard indemnity periods are twelve (12) months for nursing homes and twenty-four (24) months for retirement homes
        • If the location is closed in whole or in part by order of the appropriate health or police authority as a direct result of the occurrence of:
          • Food Poisoning
          • Notifiable Human Infections
          • Infestation by Vermin or Pests and/or
          • Defective Sanitation or Drains
          • Murder or suicide.
        • and business is interrupted or interfered with in consequence of such closure then the provisions of the policy shall apply as if such interruption or interference during the said period of closure had been caused by an insured peril.
