The following certain aircraft type and size are not eligible for coverage:
- Balloons, hang-gliders, airships, paragliders, hovercraft, unmanned air vehicles, very light jets (VLJs) and commercially* registered aircraft is not available.
- Aircraft with MORE than 7 passenger seats (excluding the pilot seat) are not eligible.
- Aircraft with a permissible maximum take-off weight of MORE than 5670 kg (12,500 lbs) are not eligible.
Note: The Silver Wings Plan does permit commercially registered aircraft if they are rented or borrowed and they are used for private business and pleasure purposes only.
